Born and raised in the picturesque coastal city of Santa Barbara, DeeDee discovered early on a passion for community engagement through the nonprofit sector. Growing up in a family dedicated to serving their community, she developed a strong sense of responsibility for helping others give back and support meaningful causes.

After earning her M.S. degree from California Lutheran University, DeeDee began her career working with nonprofit organizations dedicated to improving the lives of others and found herself working in fund development. Over the years, DeeDee has worked with numerous organizations of all sizes from an organization run by a volunteer Board of Directors to one of the largest in the area, the Santa Barbara Zoo. Her work has allowed organizations to increase funding to important programs and improve their impact on the communities they serve. Known for her meticulous research, staying on top of deadlines, writing compelling narratives, and dedication to aligning funders' priorities with nonprofit missions, DeeDee has become a trusted partner for organizations seeking sustainable growth.

The goal through the Conrad Collective is to be a collaborator with nonprofits on any project they have, regardless of size or budget, to make sure organizations have the support they need to collectively impact the communities they serve.
